pointless mod extra turn of the key and the car starts haha.

Honda originally invented the push start button on their bikes back in the 60's just thought id share that info lol.

anyone got any pics of their buttons they've added?
  16. #16
i have looked at doing this but i kinda cant see the point only u have to put the key in anyway so if anything this makes starting the cart that little bit harder.

It's how cool you look as you turn to your bitch look her in the eye and hold the button down as your motor fires up in your ear

thats more simple than i was expecting

i guess it was relatively simple to wire up?

    but they seem huge :/

yeah its easy to wire up, you just have to find out which wires to use though. theres a guide knocking about here somewhere by predatorvtr

ive always been after a more fancier looking button, butcan find one anywhere. would love one out of a new bmw or s2000 but most of them are too big , even aftermarket ones like ones on ebay are too big

easy fitting takes about 20 mins
  24. #24
    thanks for that

and yeh i'd looked at the, and there over an inch wide which I thought was a bit OTT

Dont piss about with little gay buttons like the mush who posted the diddie silver one get a huge red button like the one in the Honda s2000, theyre for show they need to shout "if you press me all hell will brake loose"

    cheers mate lol

yeah i agree, bigger more noticeable button FTW. but nowhere to mount it FTL
(unless you want to drill a hole in the dash lol)

only trouble with that is if u fit it on a poxy 1.1! push start button should make the car start with a growl like a mustang not a little ma e e e brum!
  29. #29
I thaught It was standard issue to fit them into the fag lighter hole in cars then move the 12v feed to the glove box for things like satnav?

Looks smart as fuck on e36's as it's right next to the gearstick!!
  30. #30
yeah people do put them there but its too low down/far away/not noticeable enough

I had one in my previous Corsa. Cig lighter is in a flip down bit so you could close it and hide it. As someone said above, fit it into you cigarette lighter and use that power source for power. Then just wire it into your ignition. Its actually no that bigger job.
