trivia with my spare key... Can anyone explain.

   My mom had to use my car to pick me up this morning from my misses' house (I refuse to pay taxi fees).
   
   Anyway, she was using the spare key and she said it doesn't unlock my drivers side door, however, she could get into the passenger one.
   
   I thought it was gonna be one of those moments where I do it and it works first time, But sure enough, same thing happend to me. The spare key doesnt even turn, It just goes in an thats it.
   
   Any ideas chaps ?

   probably very worn lock - I suspect you don't open the doors from passenger side that often so that side won't be as worn as driver

   your key mite be worn same as lock
   just a fort

   Your mechnism in the door will have seized which means you will have to get a new one.

   Try your main key in the passenger lock. worst come to worst swap the passenger lock for the drivers................ that way you wont have to use the passenger door next time.

   Ah dont worry, it was only the spare key that would not work. We barely use it So its not a major problem just a weird one that confused me.
