   And also whats best to strip paint from alloys from stuff lying around the house?

   cleaning alloys - wonder wheels (amazing stuff! )
   stripping them down - paint stripper from b&q/focus/wickes

   wonder wheels good stuff .
   
   i use a wire brush mate or sandblaster if you got an air compressor.
