What would you do?

    My cars on about 85k miles now and its got the odd problem engine wise, just doesnt run like it used to anyway im thinking should I Sell and buy another saxo with less mileage and maybe a bit tidyer bodywork wise or do an engine swap? Im leaning towards swapping the car for another saxo just not really sure.

    Depends on how handy you are with tools or have mates who can lend you a hand with an engine swap,you thought about a vts conversion?

    do a full service on it. adjust valve tappets. new spark plugs all DIY work. if there is white smoke coming out the back even when you have drove it for a good bit head gasket might need changed. change coolant. get a haynes manual and it will give u more ideas

    I'm not talking about swapping it right now just thinking within the next year hopefully, it is due a service at the moment which i will be doing myself, how are tappets adjusted and can I do that myself?, about the vts conversion id love to but im 20 and vts insurance is a bit of a no go lol

    Best suggestion regarding tappets etc is to buy a Haynes manual mate,yes you can do it yourself.

    am sure someone on here has adjusted there tappets, have a search mate
