Focus RS Green Saxo?

   My car is all primed and ready for colour and I'm trying to decide what colour to go for.
   
   Has RS Green been done before? If so has anybody got any pictures? The only lime green saxo's i can find on the web are all chavvy with full bodykits etc.

   Theres a lad local to me has his saxo done in Kawasaki racing green with a black bonnet which looks good.

   yep do agree with tht, wassys aint just a respray its stupid amounts off time and effort doing everything very well with lots of extra smoothing etc and doing it green imoyou will get raped on here for copying him, but again fuck everyone on here your car mate do as u please

   Lime green with carbon bits would look good IMO.
   
   Or you could do the opposite end of the scale ST orange

   rs green will cost you about 4x as much as any other colour as its a 4 stage pearl so you got base coat then a metallic pearl then green pearl then a gold pearl its one colour i really hate painting.
   
   go for something different like slime green (kawasaki metallic green) or even the lime green metallic that's on the ktm duke.
   
   for something different get a xirallic /pearl sprayed over the top makes it different to every one else and no one will ever have the same because they wont know what pearl /xirallic you have over the top

    Green is a very bad idea, as one of the nicest cars on here is green, it just wont look right.

    There's one for sale on ebay with a simular green to the RS.
    Search for 2002 CITROEN SAXO FURIO GREEN
    Your should find it.

    lol good luck getting the midnight purple colours.
    
    midnight purple on the R34 Vspec is not available in the uk you have to get it direct from Nissan in japan.
    
    midnight purple 2 on the R33 GTR is also not available the closest to it is a flip colour produced by house of Kolor. costs £48 a litre and is a three stage so if your first stage is 3 litres worth that would be 48x3 = 144 its three stage remember so 144 x 3 = 432 that does not include the primer or clear coat before you know it your upto the £600 mark before any paint has even touched the car.
    
    no such thing as an off the shelf chip stick and even then if you had one you wont be able to repair chips its a 3 layerd flip you would need to get the damaged panel fully repainted.
    
    the Rx7 is a similar colour by BMW called Black Ruby.

    So the hundreds of paint suppliers around the Uk cant mix midnight purple?
    
    Everyone told me i couldnt get the RS green when it first came out.. but i did.

    Best thing when choosing paint is to go to a paint mixers and look at there colour charts, you will be surprised by what you can get, I went in when choosing the colour for my alloys and they had a sample book of about 200 different whites lol

    Also, Ford's RS Green, Electric Orange don't have paint codes. If you ever get a scratch/damage on one of the panels then it's likely that they'd need to respray the whole side of the car to blend it in which costs a fortune as it's soooooo hard to get a perfect colour match. It's a nightmare tbh. The colours may look good but as soon as you want a stone chip sorting or a scratch going over then you'll have difficulty finding anyone 100% confident about respraying it. Even ford wouldn't touch mine!
    
    So any pearl/metallic/4 stage paint i'd stay well clear of!! I have a Focus ST in Electric Orange, it looks good, i love it. But someone's keyed the drivers door and the cheapest quote i got to respray it was £700!!

    the reaosn is bud even with a paint code youd be walking away from the spray shop with 6 paint tubs lol. it then has to be measured in accordingly by the bodyshop and if they one layer slightly to thick then thats the whole paint job f**ked. this is why most bodyshops HATE flip paints. your qoute goes up as it takes longer to paint it as the sprayer needs to take thier time.
