   i need to know what this is and where i can get hold of one, does anyone know what it is? its really loose and leaking oil all over the engine

   its on the right hand side of the block if you are looking from the front by the way

   i'll clean it when i fix it, cant see the point when its leaking oil

   its a breather i belive
   
   no oil will come from there ...
   
   i have the same problem mine comes out abit and no oil comes from mine

   well theres oil all around the hole and its really loose, so i thought it was that leaking, when i pull it out theres oil inside too.

   my have a leak from somewhere else
   
   best bet is to get the engine steam cleaned then take it for a run then you can see where oils coming from
   
   im 99% sure oil doesnt go through that pipe
   
   there is no external pipes that carry oil ...

   there will prob be a littlew bit of oil going through the breather but that looks like a lot of oil can you get a pic from a bit further away

    cant you take it out and put some sealer round it and tap it back in its only a breather to release crankcase pressure mine does the same

    think i have a similar problem, oil leak from somewhere in the back of the engine. Been, as mentioned above to get it steam cleaned and have a look to see where its coming from.
    
    dunno if this is a common thing though....
