Anyone ever fitted any of these?

Is the threaded brass bush supposed to bolt onto the shock absorber insert? Only mine doesnt, its too big. If I put the threaded bush in the top mount there isnt enough thread on the insert to bolt the original bolt back onto?!?!

I've emailed Compbrake, but not sure when they'll reply, and I need to know now!

    HELP!

    Cheers babez xxx

There intended mostorsport use only using dedicated coil overs that have the longer threaded shafts. Pug sport and Leda both used to sell these.

...nice how it doesnt tell you that in the advert.

I've come up with a temporary solution anyway. Basically I've cut the shaped lip off the bush and inserted it into the joint, over my strut top. Then put a washer over the top.

It holds the insert central and allows me to put the original bolt on back on so I'm happy.

    Cheers for the reply.

I got my insert (PSF tarmac) machined 10mm iirc and got the nut machined down a bit also, it all fits fine now... although i've chopped them down and had some one off bits made to increase castor but i cant show you any pics as its all top secret stuff.

Looks like it bro... Shame Powerflex or the like dont like do top mounts, I think they'd make a killing personally if they aimed them at the "track" market.
