clutch release bearing

   i got a mk2 saxo vtr and the gearbox went so i got a mk1 box and a new mk2 clutch kit but the release bearing dont fit on the gearbox its got a metel pole thow the release bearing will i have to take the pole out or use a mk 1 bearing?

   is it like a sleeve with 3 bolt holes on one side ?

   there are two kinds of clutch kits for the vtr make sure you have the right one the gearboxs should be the same
