Possible to change PCD of alloys?

  1. #1
I may have found myself the perfect alloys and for an amazing deal i cant refuse..
Ive emailed about the pcd/offset bla bla but i have no reply as yet

Say they were 4X100pcd and i need 4x108.. Is it possible to change this somehow? And would be it stupidly expensive?

Although these alloys are such a good deal it might be worth it!

Yeh you can get hubcentric adaptors which convert 4x100 to 4x108 but they are usually expensive

just get some spacers and hub plates(top my head cant remeber what their called) to go from pcd 100 to pcd 108 but it can be done
what size alloys are they ?

Argh, but thats only if theyre not 4x108 though right?
  12. #12
yeah if there not 108x4 save yourself some money and get some direct fitments.

Yeah i will.. Its just that im so picky i can never find any nice ones in the right size!

... probably cause im a woman lol

Basically just buy the right wheels first time

What size and style do you like??

Multispoke (pref black with a little lip that i can spray or tape pink).. Or 5 spoke (black again), like compos.. But theyre expensive!

Also, I have about £200 MAX.. would prefer a lot less. And I dont really want to faff about with spacers or whatnot, Just want alloys that will go right on!

Well what about some second hand team dynamics pro race 1.2 15 inch they have a lip you can paint pink and come in black they suit the saxo very well too.

You should be able to pick some second hand ones of those up for about 200

Another idea would be to just powdercoat your vtr wheels in black and then get a pin stripe of pink around them.
Should only cost you 120 quid for them powder coating and about 20 for the pinstripes.

Yeah the Prorace ones are nice, seen a few of those about.. But im even unlucky with those! Theyre either stupidly priced or not quite the right size :\

Without a doubt i would have just coated the alloys i have now, but tbh i dont really like them! Wanted a whole new look
