Bonnet spacers?

   Just wondering, do bonnet spacers have any negative impact on the car at all?
   Like, do they allow in water etc or is it just the same?

   I'm guessing you mean bonnet raisers?
   Yes they let extra water from rain and washing your car in, and look chavtastic.

   They allow the hot air in the engine to escape, thus meaning it keeps ya engine cooler
   I have had 20mm spacers before and have had no problem even when washing the car..

    I had a bloke in Asda once trash my civic ek9 carbon bonnet trying to shut it because it had spacers on it (Wanker).They do help engine temps drastically though mate and look pretty good on mk1 one bonnets.

    I agree i have my mk1 bonnet raised and it really sets it off but get all the unaware people informing me its open, i just agree with em as they usually dont get the point! lol

    Got the new backbox on it's way then I'll be doing the lowering then finally the alloys or possibly some nice black steels.

    Av got raisers on and now i cant open my bonnet, think this might have made the pull cord slack

    i just took outmy hinges, drilled new mountin holes under the factory 1s and bolted them back in 2 raise mine
