    Hi Guys
heres one for youi bought a cheap saxo vtr for my girlfriend the mate i bought it off gave me a big list of things that was wrong wit hthe car.
mostly simple the hardest was the driver side driveshaft was making a god awfull noise major clicking when moving.
i sourced a new shaft online delivered for about £60. i thought beautiful when it arrived brand new.
i fitted it nice and simple using the guides on here tightened it all up refilled the gearbox everything seemed sweet.
booked it in for mot today and bang THE NOISE IS STILL THERE exactually the same noise as before WTF .

    any ideas guys

as a rule you change shafts at the same time, so they both pull the same, but it wont be the opposite shaft making the noise... is it defo a clicking noise? is your car lowered?

    bearing maybe?

If clicking when turning left it's the right hand shaft and vice versa

If it's doing it in a straight line it's damn near impossible IMO to tell which one is clicking

    car is completely standard
the noise is like nothing ive ever heard i can only be described like clicking is as soon as the car moves more then crawling speed turning doesnt seem to affect the noise but ive not driven far to test it lol

If the noise doesn't change when turning, or relative to speed, I would suspect wheel bearing?

Mines doing the same mate, at crawling speed it clicks like once on every rotation of the wheel, it does do it at say 30mph aswell but harder to hear obv, and when you put your foot down it disapears.
