What RPM..

   4750 in mine but you shouldn't be at 100mph any ways. My 100mph was on a closed road under the supervision of professionals. ( Elvington air strip )

   A nice 3 and a half k near the 70mph would be more efficient

   It was a one off thing in a factory trading estate (the factories were closed so it was empty and was only endangering myself, I'd never be so irresponsible on any public roads).

    Mines the same with a 1.1 box on a VTR..
    
    Some more sensible speeds to compare to all in 5th
    
    60mph = 3000rpm
    70mph = 3500rpm
    80mph = 4000rpm
    90mph = 4500rpm
    
    See the resemblance? whatever the RPM is, the speed is double.. so you'd get 5krpm at 100mph, so sounds like it might of been changed to a 1.1 box?
    
    Not sensible speeds to compare to are
    
    100mph in 4th gear @ 6500rpm ( hard cut limiter )
    Top speed in 5th is 125mph, i've manged 123mph and backed off..
    
    All speeds are shown on the speedo, however inaccurate they are.. hope it helps?

    Cheers for all that mate, does your 1.1 box feel a bit buttery? Or is that all Saxo's haha?
