    hello should i get a garage to do my cambelt or somebody who does work on the side, like my friends dad and buy the kit off ebay

    Really depends on how experienced the bloke is. You'll pay less to get it done on the side, but he might make a mess of your car.

    I'd get it done by a garage, but get a few quotes as it's pretty easy to get shafted on cambelt jobs. There are a number of people on here who do cambelts for set prices too.

    8 valve cam belt and tensioners supplied and fitted 135 pounds,use decent belts ie, Dayco,Gates or such like,not Wanton-wrap or Nikishiter ebay white box specials
