removing injectors?

   Im trying to take off my inlet manifold on my mk2 vtr 02 plate because i want to give it a good clean up as ive been experiencing some idle problems etc im just wondering to a need to remove the injectors to get the inlet off because its looking that way and how do i remove the injectors safely because i dont want to damage them.

   i found it easier to remove the injectors with the inlet. just removed them carefully and made sure i put them somewhere safe.

   Done this now, found it easiest to just disconnect all 4 injectors from the wiring then the inlet pulled off pretty easily after spending about half an hour getting 5 nuts off! citroen really know how to make things fiddly
