  1. #1
    Hi,
Im trying to find some nice deep dish/euro alloys and i can only find them in 100x4 etc and iv been told id need 20mm spacers.
Is it safe to run 20mm spacers?
Is their any faults or down sides to useing them?

    Thanks

im sure there is people who have had 50mm spacers someone even had like 100mm spacers if im remembering rightly , they are safe but would put more stress on the rear beam ?

with 4x100 wheels you would need spacers that adapt the stud pattern, as your stud pattern will be 4x108.
as said people have run bigger spacers than that before. as long as you get hubcentric spacers where they bolt to the hub and you use your existing wheel bolts to bolt the wheels on rather than just a spacer and longer bolts

as above i first had the spacers and longer wheel bolts which put strain on the bearings and seems to eat them up at a high rate even thou they had the lip for it all to sit in. since chanced to the expensive ones which bolt to hub and then to wheels and had no problems for past few years with them. worth spending the ££££ to get it right
