Ticking noise?

   Just had the head gasket, cam belt etc all done on my mk1 saxo 1.1, got it back, been driving it and when it's been driven for a while, there's a ticking kind of noise coming from the engine, any idea what it could be?
   
   Only way I can describe it is; it sounds like an old ford fiesta.

   tappets, most likely
   
   im presuming the guy didnt adjust them after doing headgasket (im pretty sure you can adjust them on 1.1 8v's)

   ah cool, it's going back next week anyway I'll get them to take a look at it then!
   It's a horrible noise!
