   hi everyone,iv been doing alot of work to my mrk1 vts,headgasket ect ect,anyway before i started doin the work the car cut out a couple of times,did the head and it dint cut out for a while then it did it agn,shitreon couldnt find any probs so i replaced the lambda and crank sensor,cleaned throttle body and control valve ect,the engine mangement light and air bag light comes on when i start the car then goes off,any ideas would be great,cheers

   Shit fuel maybe my vts used to cut out sometimes for no reason .

   u never found a problem then,should the engine management light come on if this is the case?

   How long does it stay on for when you start the car? Is it just for a second or two, if so then all the warning lights are ment to do that anyway.

   ye just a second or 2,the management light goes of then the airbag

   sounds fine,they all stay on for a second or 2 and then go out.you only got an issue if it stays on mate

   Try reading for diagnostic code with a machine it may give u some ideas of what the problem is.
