sidemounts

   just got cobra monaco's for the sax all i need to fit is sidemounts right??

   No you need subframes, not sidemounts. Unless your monacos are sidemount only.
   
   If you have sidemounted ones only then yes you need sidemounts. You will need to weld in some rails at specific points for the sidemounts to bolt into and the right distance from the steering wheel for you. If not that then you need to have some custom subframes made for sidemounts to bolt into.

   yeah they can have both but am gunna go for some sidemounts.. and why will i need to weld in rails? so it can move back and forward?

   No. For the sidemounts to bolt onto. Sidemounts are universal and dont fit any car at all without modification.
   
   You fit the sidemounts to the seat, then what do you think the sidemounts fit to? If you dont weld in some rails or have a custom made subframe then you will rely on some magic for the sidemounts to float in the air.
   
   Wait till your sidemounts come and you will understand fully what I mean. You need welded in rails for sidemounts. Subframes bolt into the exsisting threaded holes your standard seats fit.
