This is going to sound daft but whats the symptoms of the rear beam needing replaced?

From what I've read on here: clanging noise or as if 2 glass bottles are hitting each other from the rear, negative camber on the rear wheels, back end sliding out.
I'm sure there's more and I'm sure the more experienced and knowledgeable members will post the symptoms

best way is to just jack the rear up and move the wheels up and down by hand, you will feel/see if there is play in the trailing arms

cheers bud its in the garage atm getting checked over as ive just recently got the car just paranoid as the rear of the car squeaks from time to time going over speed bumps etc
