i cant get my rear drums off
i have dissconnected the handbrake to try release some pressure if it does
removed the big nut in the middle
tryed to force it off with a screw driver
hitting it with a hammer from the back

and it just wont come off

anyone know how i can get it off

As in the drum itself? Or can you see the pads at the point you are at now?
  3. #3
no the drum i cant see the pads i want to check them as my handbrake is quite high and its already been adjusted alot by previous owner

Remove the hub nut 32mm on drum I think, if not its a 30mm.

Tap it gently and evenly around the drum and it should drop off.

i have removed that nut from the centre
and tryed tapping evenly its as if its being stopped by the brake shoes

    Handbrake undone?

Get a punch or chizle and hit it off from the lip behind the drum. carefull not to smash a chunk out though.

    Get your sledge hammer out..

Ok dont, but just give it a good few hits to loosen it up. Theyre not that hard to get off!
