Important! : Radiator leaking??

Hi

Another problem with my newly bought vtr folks!!!!!

After discovering at the weekend that I need a new clutch for it (which is booked in for 2mora) I noticed today that the temp gauge is above the halfway mark and wen idle the temp starts climbing even though the fan is kicking in and then once i set off driving it goes back to the halfway mark and stays there.
After getting home i checked my coolant level and it was below the min level, and at the same time I noticed that underneath the bottom right hand side of the radiator it looks like it has been leaking cos the metal is a rusty colour and there was a drop of fresh liquid there.
Does this definitely sound like a damaged radiator? and is it cheap to fix? and can it be done quite easly at home? as I dont fancy forking out even more garage fees for my "new" car

any help would be appreciated!

Make sure all radiator hoses are on tight and in good nick. A second hand radiator is about £15-£30, theres loads in the for sale section or ebay.

could well be a leaking rad, saxos run hot and i had afeckin nightmare with mine, had to replace thermstat, temp sensor etc - id just get a new rad £35 on ebay, if not slam some radweld in to see if it is that
