Immobiliser light on VTS conversion

   With the conversion i got,
   
   immobiliser
   pick up ring
   key
   ecu (not unlocked)
   
   All wired up and tried starting it and the immobiliser light is flashing so won't start, but i am getting fuel....
   
   Any ideas?

   Are all the earths connected properly?

   Im sure they are, but that wouldn't cause the immobiliser light to flash would it?

   I,m thinking because I'm holding the new key in the pick up ring the old key is still pretty close. Would that not interfere with it? How do you take a chip out a key?

   Think I have found the problem. One of the copper bits on the pick up ring has snapped. Any ideas on a fix?

   Save the ball ache, get a Unlocked ECU and put your old ignition stuff back
   
   They are about £50 max mate
   
   Sell your locked ECU for about £20-£30 on here and save yourself the hassle for the sake of a few quid.

   It's alright all sorted I soldered it back together now its working
