#11Bar and hammer wins very very quickly
Slide hammer and socket methods are poor. Its as successful as Sex panther is with the ladies - 60% of the time, itll work everytime.2 users thanked this post: , -

#15ended up using a solid metal bar and hitting with a sledge hammer to get mine out took ages but did come out in the end lol
-
#16Lol didn't even think about a sledge hammer but I will try tomorrow
-
#17Just KEEP wd-40ing / hammering! it will go!
-
#18yeah that should do it just be carefull of the car moving if ur on axel stands though
-
#19also if it's really seized the trailing arm might start to come off on the other side that your hittingf from. what i done was get a ratchet strap from one trailing arm to the other and it still stretched it about half an inch before the torsion bar came out. i used a 14lb sledge hammer and two 1/2 inch extension bars put together and a jack to hold the extension bar in the right place, i would of thought a old torsion bar would do a much better job tho
