Heated them used Ed 40 used a slide hammer, used a high tensile bolt packed up with a socket while doing this I also had a friend on the other side using a bar to hammer it through and it has not moves 1 little bit

much huger hammer and an old torsion bar http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Hand...10/sd20/p77693

Bar and hammer wins very very quickly

Slide hammer and socket methods are poor. Its as successful as Sex panther is with the ladies - 60% of the time, itll work everytime.

also if it's really seized the trailing arm might start to come off on the other side that your hittingf from. what i done was get a ratchet strap from one trailing arm to the other and it still stretched it about half an inch before the torsion bar came out. i used a 14lb sledge hammer and two 1/2 inch extension bars put together and a jack to hold the extension bar in the right place, i would of thought a old torsion bar would do a much better job tho
