Where to find colour code?

   Anyone know where to find the colour code for my car? Looked in all paper work and under the bonnet cant seem to find it!

   On the inside of the fuel tank.
   
   Check the door hinge area or when you open the door..fuel cap somethings has it too

   Many people say this but all the mk1s I have owned and come accross have never had it there

    if you cant find it ring your cit parts desk ask them this is what i did and they told me as they have it saved incase you need a part from them painting! although you best get a good dealer or they wont be bothered to look for you
