New ICV for saxo vtr

   OK got a replacement idle control v and its exactly the same as the one that was currently on the car same model number everything. Ive fitted it and when i start the car it revs its tits off to about 4,000rpm... No idea why i have unplugged the battery to reset but still makes no odds, is there another way to reset it? Seems daft
