16v cutting out

   When i start the car it wont start unless i hold the throttle open abit and as soon as you take the gas away it just cuts out, if you keep the revs up slightly you can drive it but when you come to stop it will cut out...... unless you keep it revving. What would this be??

   I have cleaned the ICV but is there anyway to test it? I put it in about a month ago secondhand mind you. It dont do it all the time its now and then it has spells of cutting out.

   im having the exact same problem m8 the only way i can stop it from stalling is i put a 5th injector in and a switch to turn it on just befor it comes to idle

   Fuel filter could be blocked, not letting any fuel through to the injectors causing it to bottom out when its idling.

   I had this problem about 6 months ago, i found out to be the engine temperature plug, try removing the plug and see if it helps out at all, sounds strange but it worked for mine then once i plugged it back in it was running fine, hope this helps

   I have tried all of theses, think i may know what the problem is, i will report back in the morning when i try it.
