twin headlights

   ok, so im not sure what make these lights are as the previous owner installed them.
   
   but i would like to know what the middle light is used for as my lights are wired as follows.
   
   nearest to middle of car is winker, middle does nothing but seems to be wired up and has a bulb inside, furthest away from middle of the car is main headlights and parking light. i also have fog lights under the bumper.
   
   the middle light has never worked since ive had the car but i seem to have all the lights that ure supposed to.
   
   So, my question is, what are they there for?

   got any pics? they sound like angels but idk? i imagine you could wire them to be sidelights?

   they look like these but the middle light that i have doesnt look like this one, it looks more like more like the main headlight towards the outside of the car. mine only has a little bulb in it whereas the one on the pic looks to have either a larger one or a different surround.

   my middle light DOES NOT look like this, there is no inner silver circle around the edge and no black 'hole'...as said before it just looks like a smaller headlight....sorry i cant find an exact pic of mine, im having a hard time finding one and im not sure how to post a pic of my own in the thread.

   Theyre Morette's and if you have the H4 version in the outer lamp then the inner lamp isnt necessary. Or as you said theyre wired up, the inner lamps should come on, on high beam.

   looks like i have the H4 version then as the outer light does everything, including high beam.
   
   so whats the point in having the inner lamp?
   
   what do other people use it for?

   Many people remove it and turn it into a cold air feed.
