Steering Rack Gaiter.

   Hi quick one,
   
   My car passed MOT yesterday, but failed on a Steering Rack Gaiter? As its missing.
   
   Can anyone link me what im looking for? And how to fit? As kinda confused.
   
   Its 99 Reg VTR.

   Back of the engine bay, on the steering rack, a corrugated sleeve of rubber that covers the hydraulic arm of the steering rack.

   is it the one at the end of the rack inside the front drivers side arch? mine fell off so i used a rubber glove and wrapped some strong wire around it. my local citroen specialist said dealers wont sell it seprately without the steering rack

   I got one from Citreon when mine failed the m.o.t. It was 7 quid excluding vat took way over a week to come.

   i bought one from local motor factors for £15 can be a pain to get on though

   are we talking about the gaiter on the end or the middle of the rack?
