Important! : ABS Pump Not Working!!

   Hi guys.. Car went for test the other day and it failed on the abs not working.. Could this be the pump or is it run off a fuse ov some sort.. Im booked back in for next week so if anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated..

   if u replace the axle on the car it can trigger ur abs sensor, i dont no to much about it but just check ur fuses relays and check the sensors are in properly, like i sed not 2 clued up but iv tried to help lol

   My vtr is an irish vtr and it doesnt have disks on the back there hubs..

   Yes id say so.. All the other lights work ha.. The test center said it wasnt working but i cant see the breaks being bad.. I bought the car 8mnths ago and have being driveing it everyday since without a bother.. Could dis be a mistake by the tester? Hardly?

   has it got abs, if so it needs a abs warning light on the dashboard where the other warning lights are, if its not there it a fail mate

   Yes it has abs.. If the abs wasnt working wudnt the light be on?

   Yes as above even if the pump does work it will fail if its not lit up on ignition.

    depends, if ya put the ignition on does the abs light some on then go out after bout 5 seconds without starting it

    No,i have never sein the abs light on what so ever.. So what dose this mean tomsaxo? What is the problem?

    its either the bulb has blown or its been disconnected behind the clocks, i seen it done on a VTS, it has a abs fault on it so someone took the clocks out, put black paint over the abs light so it couldnt be seen but when it was mot time it failed on the abs light not illuminating

    So il av to check the clocks yeh? And whats dose that mean then if i get the light working?

    if the light comes on then goes out with the ignition on its fine but if the light stays on it has a fault with abs system, how do youknow it has abs?(not sayin out bad)

    Because you can see the pump plain as day and it says it on the fail sheet mate
