mk 2 b/box info plz

   hi im totaly new to cars so here goes i have a 52plate mk2 vtr read i got a cat in manifiold looking at a janspeed b/box but it advertised as cat back box will this be ok to fit...sounds like x2 cats or am i missunderstanding some thing.... any info would be great as i say totay new to car so sorry if i sound daft cheers guys

   Cat back usually means its a system that continues after your cat...from the cat backwards.

   Yeah Mk2 VTR's had the cat directly below the manifold
   The cat and downpipe are also one unit
   
   A cat back system usually is that, from the cat back
   The system you looked at will be the backbox and centre section
   The centre section will connect to your existing downpipe + cat, so you won't end up with 2 cats
   Thats how I understand it anyway.....

   thanks guys i get it now,,guess i gota start some were learning this stuff,janspeed re they loud n high pitch or deep loud or deep quiet any ideas
