   can use side cutters to crush/crimp the bit sticking out on the right

   wrong tool those bands are not reuseable mate this is the right tool but you can use side cutters but be gentle as you can cut it lol

   i used to use these in my old factory, we called them snap rings. We used to use a proper pressurised air tool that pinched both edges of the raised side. It used to snap it closed tightly instantly.
