iv just bought a dimma grille in silver and im looking to spray it gloss black im just after some info on what primer and spray paint to get and techniques if possible

Sand it, prime it, spray it.
Plastic primer
Normal spray
technique:
Hold the spray can in your hand, with your index finger push down on the white top and move your hand from the left to the right, or visa versa.

Plastic grey primer, black spray paint and a can of laquor! Halfords are usually the best. Sand it down with wet and dry till smooth. When you spray go from side to side about 10 inches from the grill! I did mine gloss black and came out like this ...
