hi guys slight problem, got some 3 piece split rims, 7j front 8j rear!

tried them on my bros vtr n they poke 25-30mm out the arch, then tried them on my furio 16v and they only poke 10mm.

im not sure on the rueling with the law and mots etc.. if any 1 can shed some light onto this for me it will b much much appreciated!

    cheers! bod

they shouldnt be poking out from beyond the arch mate.

but tbh unless they have a stupid amount of dish and stick out like a saw thumb you should be ok...but that then again depends on what the police are like around where you live.

The actual tread on the tyre has to be behind the arch. meaning the wheel can poke out the sides and be legal.

hence the reason people stretch tyres

    fair doos!

just had an epic fail moment fort they were 7j 8j,

    just realised there 8j 9j

Yeah thats fine as long at when you look from above the actual tread on the tyre cannot be seen pertruding beyond the arch. As stated above hence people stretch the tyres. Look forward to seeing these properly fitted

    cheers mate!

ideally i didnt want mad stretch but thinks its gna have 2 be done now!

may try n fabricate the rear arches with another vt to add an extra 20mm on so it sits more flush if possible, as for the front im planning on purchasing the d2 coilover kit with camber adjustment!

heres wat it reli looks like now atm!

was hopin 2 b done b4 fcs but a major piss in the wind now id say!

It does look mint mate! Some wider arches would look sweet i reckon!! Give it a mean as stance and be different which makes a nice change haaa

Would be good if you get it done in time would really like to see it but does seem somewhat unlikely.

    they are gonna look immense!!

wider arches are full of win.

plans are for wider arches now, going to fabricate 2 vt kits n smooth together to keep an oem look, coilovers with camber adjustment for the front!

will look sick when its done! no trackdays in mind for now
