My saxo vtr is due for an MOT at the end f this month and the horn has suddenly stopped working, I have checked all the fuses and none of them have blown, I have also located the horn itself just in front of the drivers wheel but there doesnt appear to be anything loose from that or owt. Has this happened to anyone else, if so how did you get it sorted? i need to know ASAP, as cheap as possible too cos im skint lol
Important! : 2001 VTR horn !!

#2If all the fuses are fine then your horn might be nackered mate,
£15 for a new one from most places,
And there plug and play so its only a 2 minute job. -
#3Same happened to me mate, checked the fuse and that was fine
Bought a new horn and it still doesnt work so gotta check the wiring -
#4Ye that's a thought, try and get a voltmeter and check your wiring, but most times its usually the horn itself.
-
#5mine only works when it wants too, find sometimes if i keep pressing the horn button it starts working again, rekon its probably the horn itself
-
#6Possibly the horn button it self has broken.. you need to check the horn connector with a multi meter and make sure its at battery voltage when the button is pressed. If its not then work your way back checking up to the switch.

#7i had this problem mate, it was the conector that ataches to the horn, just cut the box off and put the clip connectors like you use on 6x9s and connect it back up, it should work then
