Important! : MOT Failure.

   Car went in for MOT this morning.
   
   Both ball joints need replacing.
   
   They couldnt take a reading for the emissions and even the people at the garage dont know why?
   
   Also, the headlights point to low to the ground and wont adjust any higher. Anything I can do for this?
   
   Also, handbrake failed as its only 12% effective. They said the handbrake + cable is fine its just they may need a bit cleaning? Any thoughts?

   Mines failed with the handbrake the other day.. just on the one side.. put new shoes on it and that didnt help dunno what to do now haha
   But try tightening the hand brake up.. the bolt is under the car in the middle.. you'll have to take the heat shield off to get to it... and apparently the things holding it on always snap..so be careful

   mine failed mot the other day badley handbreak was on of them got my mate to tighten it and also headlights was one of them the metal bracket that holds the light bulbs in both snapped :/

   Balljoints: 6 quid each, Easy fix
   
   Emissions: Did you have a de-cat on the car? Or is the MOT tester a few sandwiches short of a picnic?
   
   Headlights: Sure the bulb isn't in upside down? As that'll point the beam further down if bulb is upside down
   
   Handbrake: Tighten up underneath on the metal bracket and that should sort it If not then new handbrake cables needed

   Thanks, and the bulbs probably are. There was a dosy idiot that had the car before me
