Important! : Starting Problem

   I have baught a vtr engine convertion full wireing from headlight to back lights.
   
   I have got everything in correctly and wired up, but when i got to start my car up i cranks but doesnt start i have checked allot of things over and seems that i have no fuel and no spark i have changed the crank sensor and still no luck how would i check the wireing as it seem strange between crank sensor and pump relay to ucu to fuel pump i need help on what to check and how to check it i have got a multimeter ?
   
   also i got a reading of 11.11 on multimeter through petrol pump constant but the pump doesnt prime on second turn of the key ?

   For the fuel, did you try pressing the inertia switch, ( The red button at the back of the bay )
   
   And as for the spark, was the ecu unlocked when you fitted the engine?

   The engine cranks so it can't be locked can it ?
   And for the fuel cut out switch I have Reyes that to :\

    ECU controls fuel and spark iirc, but the crank sensor also can give you troubles starting, as can the green sensor that runs behind the inlet on a 16v engine.

    And also does a key appear on the dash when your turning it over, as this would be the obvious cause for immobiliser.

    Nope no key symbol at all just handbrake and airbag
