  1. #1
As title. Im amused. Sorry if its the wrong thread.

This 'guy' said he can get 160 out of his VTR. I LOL at him everyday because I said my VTR was fast accelerating.

He is on SaxP actually, but not gunna name and shame him.
  2. #2
And hes never actually proved this to anyone, he just likes to try and play the hardman.
  3. #3
    i thought it was 180?
i joke but he sounds like a cock
  4. #4
I hope your being sarcastic. lol.
  5. #5
pretty sure i read that to reach over the 150 region with the actual aerodynamics constants of the saxo it would need a silly amount of hp, something like 400bhp.

someone actually worked it out accurately on here

basically your mate telling porkies lol
  6. #6
    Please name and shame.

    That's hilarious.
  7. #7
He isnt a mate. he just tries to take the piss outa me because I said my 1.1 was quiet fast at acceleration (I proved this which it was) done 0-62 in about 10 secs which isnt too bad.

10 seconds is an absolutely shit 0-60 time. And also I'd love to know how you got that as the book speed and quickest I've seen is around 12 seconds.

10 seconds is not too bad for a 1.1 mark 1 with piper cross induction kit and straight through exhaust.

There's no way that's possible mate sorry. And a 'fast acceleration' IMO is sub 5 seconds

sure the VTR has more torque...8 valves remember
  17. #17
So first we have a VTR that does 160mph.... then a 1.1 that will do 0 - 60mph in 10 seconds..... Ive just come back from the pub but i only had two beers ?
  18. #18
O`h god don`t say its Railroader lol.

    Steve.

vtr/vts it doesnt matter there only really nippy cars.
a FAST car is something which can hit 60 sub 4/5 seconds and will hit 150mph without too much of a sweat.

    ............................Standard.............................................Induction kit
    Paradox...

L O L im not on any sides here but there is now way in hell that you had 0 - 60 in 10 seconds out of a 1.1 engine i had a 1.5vtec civic which on paper did 0 - 60 in 10.2, you must of been counting really slowly when you done it haha no offence
  22. #22
    Name and shame.

Because I want to go to his house and kick him in the face for being so fucking stupid.
  23. #23
did you count with ur hands and start from 1?
  24. #24
haha a bit harsh, but funny lmao
  25. #25
The only way a VTR would do 160mph is if you dropped it out of a plane at 35k feet

An induction kit will give you maybe 5bhp (being optimistic)

Probably wouldn't hit much over 100mph dropped from that height tbh.

maybe if it was towed by a veyron it might reach 160 if it didnt fall apart as the aerodynamics arent brilliant
