is the older saxo vts (97) central locking loom any different to a saxo vts(03) loom?

    hi guys
    duno if your able to help me but i think i have a 97reg vts loom fitted in my car but my doors are from an 03reg vts with the 03 looms already in them, anyone know why my car is not locking or doing anything?

    duno if its anything to do with newer loom in the new doors are different to the older wireloom fitted in the car

    it may be different like, ya can try and see the worse thing is that it wont work mate

    yeh it dont work lol no power or nothing even when your in the car and you push the lock down and normaly will lock all doors aswell but dosent even do that

    well the car is an 03 reg anyways but becuase the car has had so much work done on it i have an older loom fitted because its been modified slightly to run the car on carbs but was working before i took the 97reg car apart but didnt keep the doors or the loom for them

    ah crap lol, it sounds like ya need the wiring or rewire it from scratch mate

    As far as I remember the central locking wiring remained standard on my old car, so no idea why it doesn't work, unless the later stuff is different.
    Bit busy for the next week or so, but I could probably have a look at it for you, but I'll probably cost you lol

    yeh didnt think you changed the loom for it. ohrite sweet yeh if you could mate that would be a big help again lol paying is no problem fella as either way wud cost me to get it done, in the mean time ill have a plunder my self at it but dout i can do it lol
