Few questions about an ECU

    Im breaking a 99 vtr at the moment. And just wondering what the problems are with the ecu's
    Always heard about ecu's being locked and unlocked...is there anything i have to do before i remove the ecu from the car?
    Just dont have a clue when it comes to this

    Also looking to know,if its going into another 99 saxo would it just be lift out and plug in? And would a silvertop ecu work on a blacktop engine?
