Start the car and let it build up for a minute, then check to see if you have any pressure in the pipes to and from the rad.

Are your blowers blowing hot air out if you turn the heaters on full?

If nothing on the temperature needle, try rebleeding the system fully to get rid of air with just water (No need to waste antifreeze on testing!) and see if it moves a little?

Again, if not... replace the thermostat (£7ish from a local motor shop) and then rebleed again properly to see if the needle works.

I rebled mine last night as I had a masssssive airlock, doesn't take long at all, and runs beautifully cold now.

    Oh, Ps.

If you turn the car off completely after it running... then switch back to ignition, does the needle move at all? Like, anything? Could actually just be your motor on your dials is broken?

Could do the easy thing of resetting the ECU by unplugging the battery for half hour or so, and see if it changes anything!

    You tried changing the thermostat?

Does your fan ever kick in?

If everything else is working fine but the needle then its very likely a fualt in the dash. Wouldnt worry about it.
