    right ive just got a piper x airfilter and i was thinking about getting to 3" pipe and connect it to the TB the bring it to the front of the car then mount the filter, would this be a good idea as i thought a being closer to the front would give it a cooler air feed compared to having it come straight off the TB, if i do this would a heat sheild be a good idea as it will still be close the engine and the manifold aswell?

    Don't bring it to the front, just wack it on the throttle body, AWESOME NOISE!

    Don't think you will be able to fit a heat shield though, i didn't have much luck.

    would have thought it would be better round the front so no sucking in warm air suppose i can try both ways see which is best
