HiD kits

    Has anybody used 'Flourish' HID kits? Found one at 8000k for about £50 and wondered if they're any good? And are they easy to fit?

    Btw Flourish is the name of the company that makes them if I didn't make it clear

    Search for hid kits, guy called sug7 selling them for £50 all in mate. I've got one and they are brilliant

    unplugging a few wires and plugging some of them into new places dead easy mate cant go wrong

    As simple as this^^ His kits come with good instructions anyway plus theres a how to thread on here

    look on ebay ive have just order my kit and its only cost £25 all in but they are coming from hong kong and can take up to 30days to arrive

    I've ordered some off Sug7 i got the 8000k ones with H4 fitment...that sound about right?

    sounds spot on if your going for the blue tinted look, 4000k-6000k are best if you wanna see clearly

    Yeah i wanted a bit of blue in them but i didnt wanna be pure blue so left 10000k out of it, 8000k looks like it has a tint of blue without being over the top

    flourish kits are fantastic, i buy on regular basis from them on ebay. and the kits last longer and works spot on, i have several others but can't beat flourish kits, also price have dropped now. the guy whos selling these his ebay id is florish.hid and is from uk. i think they are uk base too. delivery is free in uk and u get within few days.

    if you want the proper twin fillament bulbs get the bi xenon hi/lo beams from ebay 38quid!! best but ever! and i would always recommend 6000k as 8000k is jus asking for a pull from da fuzz!

    Keep your o/e headlights, you'll need them to pass a legit MOT in 2012.

    Wow didn't expect someone to revive this thread :L i've had my HIDs in for months now.
    Anybody tried the super bright blue tint bulbs from Halfords? says they're road legal and thinking of swapping my HIDs out and just using bright halogen bulbs.

    i used to use the phillips x-treme vision (legal) bulbs which were really good but after going to HiDs i am never going back.i didnt realise jus how good they ere till i got a set

    Thanks! i was searching for that for aaaages lol The halfords bulbs are a bit all or nothing, much better than standard ones by a mile but i have noticed that when you are on full beam there is a bit of a gap between where dipped beam ends and full beams start, i found it is best to either run with fulls and fogs on or hold the lever between full and dipped to get both! so either way running hid's is better hope that makes sense?

    Yeah I get it lol Iv got hids and cant fault them. People say that they blink people, I havent had anyone flash me as iv got them angled right down so they arnt in the eye line of others lol
