map sensor?

Ive had a slight idle problem on my 02 vtr for a while now i have replaced the icv and the temp sensor also cleaned up the throttle body. even had it off and cleaned it. what usually happens is when i start the car back up after say filling up with petrol it will sumtimes jump the revs up and down between around 800-1200 revs but if i just tap the accelorator it will idle as normal. could the map sensor cause this? as im pretty much running out of ideas and don't really want to buy a new map sensor if thats not gonna be it either?

I have the same problem. Basically I just put petrol in my 1.4 furio, started it up and took it for a rally down the motorway next thing it started bouncing the rev's but wouldn't stop.

I've changed the coolant temp sensor and I've a new idle control valve as spare.

When im slowing down and knock it out of gear, it would bounce the rev's between 1k - 2k but when i stop it would idle normally. Does you's do the same?

It will do sometimes its totally random though some days will feel like there is nothing wrong with it other days will run like crap
