   hey just got some shocks from a mate and when compressed they dont spring back out, he sais this is normal but my mates say they should pop out straight away, can anyone shed some ligjt? They seem quite new and even still have stickers on them from new so they dont seem worn, any any help quikly would be aprecieated. Thanks Ifan

   the shocks are the damper the spring gives it the return. so yes that is normal

   Standard dampers will stay compressed but most uprated ones will extend back out.
