piper x or green

   right ive got a green cone filter and ive just brought a piper x as i herd they were decent and sound brill, ive just fitted my piper x and i dont think iy was worth the money doesnt sound a deep or thropy when you hammer the throttal down any advise

   i had a piper x foam filter on the car when i got it and its by far the loudest roar imo but does naff all for performance as it just soaks up all the heat from the engine! (mite take while for new filter to bed in and become louder)

   if its a second hand one then may need a clean. As above they dont help performance really

   didnt want it for proformance just wanted it for the sound at the front

   I had a piper x it did nothing seen a small gain with green cotton

   Green cotton ftw. be even better with an enclosed fliter box tho.
