Exhaust bracket

   The bracket that holds the exhaust downpipe to the gearbox is rattling! Could I put a rubber washer between the two peices? If so... Will any type a rubber washer do or is it ones made for heat? Or what else could I use

   it should be bolted rigidly to the engine/box, has the bracket on the downpipe snapped,thats what usually makes them rattle.

   Will need to have a good look.. What happensif thier cracked/snapped?

   either a new pipe or usually just get it welded up
