Spoiler v No spoiler?

  1. #1
Not sure whether or not i should have the spoiler..

    Copyright to m1ller lool.

Or... (Scuse the blackberry wank camera!)

  2. #2
Get a mk2 spoiler if you get one.
  3. #3
The second pic of the spoiler dont look right?

    Mk2 agreed.
  4. #4
The 2nd pic is how my car currently is.. the previous owner put it on.. what spoiler is it then?
  5. #5
Looks like a mk1 that aint been put on properly lol at the wrong angle.
  6. #6
is a mk2 spoiler not one that bolts to the glass it dosnt look like mk2 spoiler at all
    looks like a mk1 spoiler
  7. #7
Its like a light black plastic btw.. like the same as the black plastic bit of the rear bumper
  8. #8
i have a mk2 spoiler for sale if you want to buy a mk2 spoiler but its i silver
  9. #9
it looks like a mk2 spoiler thats been put on wrong....so i would take it off & fit it properly!
  10. #10
Defo a mk1 spoiler, I think it is straight just the pic is at abit of a funny angle.

Remember as its a mk1 spoiler you will be left with holes in the bootlid if you take it off, they'll need to be welded.
  11. #11
As its not standard, it probably wont have holes in the lid, will just be bonded on.

Deffo a mk1 spoiler tho, so get a mk2 one on there
  12. #12
looking at it again, it does look abit like a mk2 at a funny angle. But if its the same plastic as the bumper it may be aftermarket. As i dont know of any saxo coming with a plastic (bumper coloured) spoiler.

This... Davvy get a side view pic up, that will settle it
  15. #15
It looks nothing like a mk2 spoiler lol.

Look at the level of it, its higher than the rest of the car. A standard mk1 spoiler is in line with the roof, or else it wouldnt even be doing its job lol
  16. #16
yeh, I mean it looks abit like a mk2 that has been twisted up and fitted to the metal rather than the glass. Just doesn't look quite like a mk 1 to me.

Any how i think it looks better without tbh.
  17. #17
its blatently not a mk2 spoiler.

mk 2 spoiler looks alot better.
  18. #18
I would have no spoiler tbh, take it off another boot would only cost about £40 if it has holes in it.
  19. #19
    for image sakes
    mk2 spolier
  20. #20
    Despoilered..
  21. #21
Ill go get a side pic, calm it ladies
  22. #22
    MK2 Spoiler FTW
  23. #23
And btw its not on the glass, its on the boot, either side of the glass.

  24. #24
anyways either no spoiler or a mk2 spoiler
  25. #25
    ^^^^ Agree with this
  26. #26
Ill have a look about for a mango mk2 spoiler
  27. #27
i have one in silver if you up to painting it
  28. #28
Might do mate, ill let you know when i got money, more important things to pay for first!
  29. #29
not a problem i dont want much for it anyways its just sat there doing nothing getting covered in dust just drop me a pm if you want it
  30. #30
    get a gti spoiler
  31. #31
If you get a new spoiler I'll buy that black spoiler off you mate.
  32. #32
mk2 spoiler deff. looks odd without one, and the mk1 is too big.

mk2 is easier to fit aswell, just get a tube of tiger seal and bond it on

Not sure how much they go for mate sorry.
Just looked at eBay and looks like they're around £20 posted, I'd just prefer yours as it goes with the black plastics of my car.
  35. #35
Ill decide when i got more money bud
  36. #36
That's fine mate just drop me a PM when you've decided, I'd be happy to pay up to £30.
  37. #37
Spoiler is a nice mod mate, would get a nice mk lip spoiler, really easy to fit aswell.
  38. #38
spoilers without a vt kit look silly imo.

    just looks kinda outa place
  39. #39
on topic: no spoiler if it isnt a vt
off topic: get rid of that exhaust in pic 2 asap
  40. #40
Dont worry tom lol, ive bought a vtr backbox, just need a clamp to fit it.
  41. #41
no spoiler gets my vote looks cleaner. but if you have 1 its gotta be a mk2
  42. #42
It'll look like a shopping trolley till you lower the car.

Spoilers can look great, but only when the rest of the car suits it.

    My 306 pulls it off ( I think! ) http://s568.photobucket.com/albums/s...ar%20Finished/
  43. #43
no spoiler, or the VTS spoiler
  44. #44
I'd go with no spoiler out the two, the clean simple look, looks good!!

    Jon
  45. #45
Not sure yet, till ive got it lowered
  46. #46
    removed the spoiler, much better
  47. #47
hello lads big debate lol. i am in the same situation. im looking for a spoiler for my vtr. how do they fot onto the boot? cheers
