VT Kit?

  1. #1
Was just wondering; what does putting a VT kit on a standard saxo involve? Just a rough outline, do the original panels have to be taken off or what?
Confused. Thinking about getting one, seen a nice cheap one.

Also, mine's a flatarch, so I'm guessing it's probably not possible?

Rear arches need cutting slightly. The bumpers are a straight bolt on fit, the trim panels and arches need clipping into the existing trim/bumpstrip holes & tigersealing on.

ah, doesn't sound as easy as I thought
Mine's a flatarch does that make any difference? ahah

It's pretty easy tbh mate..I've done it myself to my flatarch.
Never previously did anything bodywork related, or used an angle grinder Lol.

Rear arches are the the hardest things of them all, but even then..they're not that hard to do. Just a steady hand and a good eye, and you're sorted.

as long as you mark up where you need to cut and just stick to the line you've draw then its all good

the rear arches are piss easy, took me about 30 seconds to cut each one!...its the gluing and getting it to stick of for 24 hours which is the hard bit! buy about 3 rolls of masking tape, 1 tube of tigerseal, spare citroen plastic clips incase any break, get a 10mm spanner, the VT kit, ofcourse an angle grinder then your on your way!
