Thinking of tints?

i want the same tint all way round 5DR ... maybe not the windscreen.
i dont want limo or to dark on the back would like to see + dont want to look like a van.
was thinking a 30% tint so 70% of light comes thru / light smoke....
Any body got pics of light smoke, and what do you think of if all round.
    thanks in advance =)

    sounds like a lot...
    i have a black 5dr 1.5D

Can't smoke front two windows... You'll constantly get pulled for it.

Rear 3 can be whatever you want, I've got dark smoke on mine.

im sure i saw sumwhere you can tint the front as long as 75% light gose thru

Good luck with that... You'll get pulled for any tint now, and they will attempt to make life hell for having it!

By all means, try and quote the law etc... But its more hassle than its worth.

Got to agree, my mate had light smokes on his front quaters and he must have been pulled in 5x a week. He tryed quoting the law it wasnt worth it, I ended up removing them for him at the roadside when one copper threatened three points as he believed they were illegal.

Go limo at the back, and dont bother with the hassle as eventually you will be forced to remove them anyway so save your coin!

The windows are already smoked to a slight percent straight from the factory, not much, but enough to mess up any additional tints you add

there for you will be pulled alot, not worth it.

If your going to tint do the front pair too other wise youll just look like a van which is a fail

I plan to get mine all tinted straight after FCS and cant see a problem with them.. if their legal their legal you can always question the police to prove it its not just their word vs yours..

LOL, itll be 2am, thunder and lightning as he drives past a cop with his windows wide open

in all seriousness, real dark tints look ghey imo stick to like 40% tint, then you can do the front the same

im sorry what?, they have to let 75% of light through

40% makes it 60% of light through? and like i said, the windows are slightly tinted anyways from stock, only like 3% or something, but its enough to mess up any additional added tints..

    Tints dont suit saxo's anyway

my bad tints arent really my specialist subject i just think they look good when theyre slightly tinted, so you can still see through them but you can still notice that theyre tinted

good luck doing that on a 1.5d under 2 seconds while driving-no electrics

what's the point in doing that anyway. the 5 sheets of sticky plastic are gonna cost more than the car.

I'm sure you can get a better price than £200 + just dont do it yourself as there is nothing worse than badly done tints
