Gear liinkages

Anyone know any firms that do saxo gear linkages ?

I've just phoned citroen and they want £68 which I reckon is pretty steep just for 3 rods. Think I'd rather glue or tape them on than pay that sort of money.
It might have to be a scrapyard job if they're in good nick but is there anywhere that does them brand new but a lot cheaper.

    Cheers for any advice.

I should have used a spanner to prise them off instead of a screwdriver like Haynes recommends. The rubber inserts came away with the linkage so they're more or less knacked.

I was thinking of gluing them in and wrapping strong wire around the connection but reckon I'll have to bite the bullet and get a new set.

i did this, one of them kept coming off and leaving me with only 3/4 gears and the gearchange was sloppy as hell.

i got the kam racing ones on now, prefer the feel of the standard ones though

ive just put the kam racing ones on. I dont no if it was me fittin them wrong but the bottom linkage kept hittin the exhaust so couldnt use 2nd or 4th. Put the standard one back on and it was fine. Also they just dnt feel as smooth. What threw me was there are 3 balls ( cant think of a better term ) and 2 linkages. And i think i used the bottom two.

i used araldite to hold mine on - lasted ages
one of my mates has one of his running held on by a cable tie

Cheers , yeah was thinking a really good superglue /araldite might hold it as a temproary measure until I can source a decent cheap set from a scappy.

Think you can get access to it for free if you have a 100 posts on the forums (although I could be wrong there).

The forsale section is good, full of cars being broken!

If it helps, I have two newish ones on my old car I'm breaking. I have the long one, and one of the smaller ones... PM me if you want them?
